Information we handle
| Activity | Information and use |
|---|---|
| Browsing | Serving a page exposes technical request information to the server, such as an IP address, requested URL and browser headers. A hosting provider may keep access or security logs. Production logging details remain subject to confirmation before launch. |
| Using the demo | Budget settings, API selections and simulated transaction history remain in the current page's memory. They are not submitted to AEPAY or a payment provider. |
| Searching documentation | Search terms are matched against content in your browser and are not sent to a search service. |
| Contacting us | If you write to us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to include so that we can respond. |
The current application has no sign-up form, payment collection, wallet connection, advertising pixels or analytics integration. Fonts are served with the website rather than requested from an external font service.
Purposes & legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing needed to deliver and protect the website is based on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure website. Responding to general enquiries is based on our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us. We must consider your rights when relying on these interests.
We process information needed to comply with applicable legal duties, including valid privacy requests, on the basis of those obligations. No optional tracking is enabled in this version; any future consent-based processing must be explained and agreed to separately.
You can browse and use the demo without providing account or payment information. Contact details are only needed if you want a reply to an enquiry.
How long information stays
Demo data is cleared by Reset session, reloading the page or leaving the demo. Documentation search text is held in memory only. The application does not write either to cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage.
Correspondence should be kept only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and meet applicable legal requirements. The relevant criteria are the purpose of the enquiry, whether it remains open, any legal retention duty and the need to establish or defend a legal claim.
The production host and its log retention period have not yet been confirmed. This draft must be updated with those details before public launch; it does not assert that server logs are immediately deleted.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
The demo does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. Its automated policy checks only control simulated requests.
Where the GDPR applies, requests generally receive a response within one month. A permitted extension of up to two additional months requires notice and reasons within the first month. Proportionate identity verification may be needed.
You may complain to a competent data protection authority, including in your EEA country of residence, work or the alleged infringement. See the EDPB's directory of European supervisory authorities.
